Are you a health or social service provider interested in learning more about reducing stigma related to sexuality, substance use and sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs)?

You are invited to a blended learning opportunity offered jointly by the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) and the Centre for Sexuality!

This learning opportunity focuses on defining the various forms of stigma and the factors that contribute to stigma, and identifying strategies that can be used at both practice and organizational levels to create more inclusive, less stigmatizing experiences for people accessing health and social services.

As part of this blended learning opportunity, you will be invited to complete a self-directed online course (it takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete) and then come together with others for a 90 minutes in-person workshop to discuss and explore the application of the stigma reduction concepts and strategies highlighted in the course.

The 90 minute in-person training will be held on March 20, 2019 from 12:00-1:30pm at the Centre for Sexuality, 700, 1509 Centre Street SW, Calgary AB.
