One-on-One Sexual Health and Healthy Relationships Education for Parents

Learn to talk to your kids about sex and relationships!

As a parent, you are your child’s first and most important educator when it comes to healthy relationships and sexual health. It’s essential to have the knowledge and confidence to guide them through crucial conversations about their bodies, consent, sexuality and relationships.

Our one-on-one education sessions can be in person or virtual and are specifically designed to empower parents to be the primary source of trusted, accurate and supportive information for their children.

These topics can feel overwhelming, but our goal is to provide you with the tools, knowledge and resources to create a safe and open environment for these discussions. Whether you’re navigating your child’s questions about puberty or helping them understand consent and healthy relationships, we are here to help!

By participating in these sessions, you will feel better prepared to foster a positive, informed and respectful dialogue about sexual health, setting the foundation for a lifetime of healthy relationships and self-awareness.

We see parents of children or teenagers of any age who are looking for support on approaching sensitive topics in an age-appropriate and confident way.

If you are looking for emotional support, please see our Supportive Counselling services.

Your session will be led by our Parent Program staff. You can choose one topic or multiple topics to learn about. We can accommodate short sessions of 15 minutes or longer sessions of 60 minutes.

Learn how to approach topics like:

  • Body awareness
  • Consent
  • Puberty
  • Gender identity
  • Sexuality
  • Healthy relationships

Our process begins with filling out an intake form to learn more about you and your needs. Then our staff will be in touch to schedule a session.
